Lavender Celebration
The Lavender Celebration celebrates the achievement of LGBTQIA+ undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral candidates. Lavender Celebration began in 1995 on the campus of the University of Michigan and has since expanded to universities around the country. Each graduate receives a commemorative rainbow cord to symbolize their academic achievement. The ceremony takes place during the fall and spring commencement.
Registration information for the December 2022 Cultural Achievement Ceremony will be posted in October.
