Multicultural Leadership Council (MLC)
MLC is made up of representatives from cultural and social justice organizations at VCU. The council gives student org leaders an opportunity to build their support network, share strategies on how to navigate challenges, as well as, collaborate on programming and advocacy efforts.
Multicultural Connections and Advisement Program (MCAP)
MCAP is seeking new students (1st year students and transfer students) and student mentors (sophomores, juniors and seniors) interested in being actively engaged in intentional mentorship centered around supporting underrepresented identities (gender, race, class, sexuality, etc.). Applications for 2020 - 2021 new students and student mentors are now available!

The Multicultural Connections and Advisement Program (MCAP) provides new students with underrepresented identities the opportunity to build meaningful connections with current VCU students. MCAP provides new students with a student mentor as well as support from faculty and staff members to help them navigate their first year at VCU.
Free social, academic, leadership, and community engagement opportunities are provided to participants of the program.
