Indigenous Stories of Mother Earth: Paint n' Sip with Devon Borkowski

Join us for an evening of storytelling and painting with artist Devon Borkowski, a member of the Rappahannock Tribe, as she shares different Indigenous interpretations of Mother Earth, from the Lakota story of White Buffalo Woman to the Inuit story of Sedna the Sea Goddess. Mellow Mushroom pizza will be provided, and attendance is capped at 25 students. Attendance at all OMSA events is open to all students, faculty, and staff who wish to participate. Come and bring a friend!

Chemistry Connect: Women in Chemistry Career Panel

On March 28th, the Department of Chemistry will be hosting a panel event about women working in the chemistry field. Join us to hear from current Ph.D. candidates, chemistry education and industry professionals, Haleon and Sabra employees, and more. Pizza and raffle prizes are available to attendees! Attendance is open to all students, faculty, and staff who wish to participate.

Participants will get to engage with resources such as: Gender Affirming Voice Training, Trans 101: Self-Advocacy in Healthcare Spaces & Legal Systems, Safer Sex 101: STI Myths & Facts, Gender Affirming Hair Consultations, and Safer Binder & Taping Clinics. Attendance at all OMSA events is open to all students, faculty, and staff who wish to participate. Come and bring a friend!
