Cultural Achievement Ceremonies
These ceremonies provide graduating students who identify as Black/African American, disabled, Indigenous/Native American, Latinx, Asian-American + Pacific Islander, and LGBTQIA+ an opportunity to celebrate their academic achievement in a setting that recognizes and affirms their cultural identity and rewards their hard work and dedication.
Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American Ceremony
A celebration of achievement for undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctorate) candidates that identify as Asian Pacific American (APA), Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI), Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI), and South Asian (Desi).
Accessibility Achievement Ceremony
A celebration of achievement for disabled undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctorate) candidates.
Donning of the Kente Ceremony
A celebration of achievement for undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctorate) candidates that identify as African American/Black.
Native, Tribal, and Indigenous Ceremony
A celebration of achievement for undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctorate) candidates that identify as Native, Tribal, and Indigenous.
Latine Achievement Ceremony
A celebration of achievement for undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctorate) candidates that identify as Latine or Hispanic.
Lavender Graduation Ceremony
A celebration of achievement for undergraduate and graduate (master’s and doctorate) candidates that identify as LGBTQIA+.
